Shell script – unable to parse variable

Here’s my question:
I need to run a script in a folder of my pc, and then copy the file that i need to run to a specific folder.
I’m able to run the script, but when I add a variable, shell doesnt seem to be able to parse it.
The script is this:

The script is a shell script, and I have to type “Y” to continue
When I type “Y” nothing happens, the script just stops.
I get this message in the terminal:
