Hide the hair
Want to make your subject look more professional? Hide her hair with Photoshop.
If your subject has long hair and you want to hide her hair, or if your subject has short hair and you want to hide her eyebrows, this tutorial is for you.
Use the Brush tool to select the area that you want to hide the hair with, and then use the Brush tool to erase it. The resulting image is very simple.
Step 1: Select the Brush tool
Step 2: Create a new brush
You’ll need two brushes:
A White Puff Paint (Radial, 7px)
A Black Brush (Hard Round, 30px)
Open the Brush tool. Choose the White Puff Paint brush.
Step 3: Erase the hair
Use the Brush tool to paint in the hair. Use short strokes over the hair and go over the darker areas.
Erase some hair at the sides of the face or anywhere you don’t want it.
Step 4: Make your eyes pop
You can make your eyes pop with the styles, masks and filters in Photoshop.
Open the Filter menu and select the Distort & Transform > Artistic > Lens Distortion > Posterize filter.
Set the Amount to 8 (start at zero).
Set the Opacity to 70%.
Open the Filter menu again and select the Color > Hue & Saturation > Hue/Saturation Filter.
Go to the Color menu and set the Lightness to -19 (it should be half of the image).
Step 5: Paint the light areas
Use the Paint Bucket to paint in the lighter areas.
Paint the little area at the top.
Paint the area under the girl’s eyes.
Step 6: Make the shape more detailed
You can also use the Paint Bucket to paint the shape of the girl’s face.
Make the eye slightly smaller and the forehead larger.
Adjust the Size of the brush.
Step 7: Adjust the distance

Brush Settings

The Photo Filter is used to apply various effects to images, including droplets, beams, and fire.
Red Eye Correction
The Red Eye Correction tool allows you to reduce or erase red-eye from photos. This tool is helpful for people who have overexposed images, or images that have a dark background.
