The eXtended Parameter Designer tool (eXPD) is a set of tools for computer aided PCB (printed circuit board) and PCB assembly engineers, allowing these engineers to create, load, view and save them or apply them to a project.
The eXPD module can be used as:
A tool for the creation of a set of PCB layer definitions. The Board Map module allows the creation of layer definitions for PCBs, including selections of the associated properties such as the placement of components and the file structure. Any property can be displayed or set. The generated file can be saved as source or processed to produce a complete assembly file.
A tool for creating and converting PCB assembly files, as well as creating PCB design.
A tool for PCB design. For each PCB design step the eXPD module provides a set of tools for interfacing with all required tools for board development.
A tool for the generation of PCB assembly files, as well as the creation of packages for the PCB.
A tool for the generation of Gerber and Gerber export files.
A tool for setting and checking component datasheets.
A tool for the translation of schematic symbols into the PCB and package languages.
A tool for the translation of a schematic symbol into a PCB layer definition.
Please be aware that this feature is a prototyping tool. It is not intended for production use.
eXPD features:
A simple and fast way to create a PCB layer definition. The eXPD module has a Board Map, which can be used to add, remove and select all layers. Any property can be displayed or set. If the PCB layer option is selected, the Board Map can be used to select components, generate BOM, add/modify properties or generate a board file.
A simple PCB design module, which can be used for creating hierarchical PCB designs and DFM. Included in the toolbox are various other layout tools, including a schematic symbol to PCB file converter, a pin to component file converter and a BOM generator.
A schematic display and schematic editor, which can be used to display, edit and convert any type of schematic symbol.
A PCB display/editor, which can be used to display, edit and convert a schematic representation of a PCB, together with the production process.

Yes, the program can currently be accessed on Win7, Win8, and Win10, including Android and iOS. For Mac users, the program can be run on a PC, and the logs stored on a USB flash drive can be transferred to the PC to view them.
