To be able to call an Enum from a WebApi Controller I created a helper method for it like this

So I can call things like this
Controller.MyMethods(ParseEnum(“ABC”));

when I call the Controller’s method I have code like this.
public IHttpActionResult MyMethod(MyRoleEnum input)
{
// do something
}

When I run the project and debug, the input is null, so the method doesn’t get called.
