I was lucky enough to grab this early and it’s an absolute blast. I cannot fault the sound, nor the graphics, I just wish that the gameplay was just a little more complex. But you get a nice endless number of stages, plus the slightly dark themed visuals add the atmosphere to it. You must collect the fruits that cover each stage and break them in order to progress. Upon the completion of a stage you will see what fruits you have collected. There is also a nice time attack mode that’ll have you trying to beat the high score as you travel through each stage. I enjoyed the game so much that I’ve already played it on my phone. If you want something that’s a nice ‘just for fun’ download then this is a very polished and enjoyable download.

Uncanny is a good platformer game. I like the music and the sound is nice and entertaining. I like the classic series of platformers. It has beautiful graphics and a good platform design. I like the level design. I like that you can collect all fruits but if it goes backwards then you lose some of your collectibles which is a bit of a bummer if you look at the game as a whole. It has a good fun enough time to play for a while but I am not sure

Balance
The Graviteam Tactics Team is starting a new series of blogs focused on some of the major balance topics facing our games and are meant to give you a chance to voice your concerns to us. While there may be some information shared regarding specific game mechanics that are of low intelligence, we will be giving you slightly deeper insight into the game balancing as a whole. Our hope is this series allows us to learn from your answers and better balance our games in the future. Our first topic will be the Raid balance. We hope you enjoy, and please help us out with your recommendations to improve the game experience.
A Little Background:
Raids (Combat + Summons) were created because as you pointed out in our previous Bioreview on this topic, the first team combat without resorting to Golems (our version of the Siege Repulsor) was boring and felt like a chore. It’s also what made the entire activity of a Team Raid a chore. Mounting multiple Golems was the only way to defeat Heavy Teams and the inability to use the pentagram in Mounts left you sitting around waiting for your Golems to finish. So over time we added on Summons to slow down the pace even further and focus more on ‘Team vs Team’ strategy.
We value your input and promise that every bit of feedback helps in improving our game. While Raids have done their job in making the ‘RAID’ gameplay experience exciting, it was clear that nothing is preventing us from making more exciting activities. We listened to all of your feedback and decided that more direct, fast paced plays are an integral part of the Graviteam universe. We wanted to give those kinds of experiences to our players without making them hunt down Raid Golems and hope they are leading them to the right direction.
The truth is each Raid is a balance object and each Golem is part of a balance tree. Over time, we’ve slowly been adding on these subroutines and senses which has allowed us to increase the difficulty of playing a Raid while maintaining a fair balance. Raids are not supposed to be insanely easy, but you don’t want them to be impossible either. Raids were not born to be a do-nothing entity and moved as we used them in the game to better address our games overarching need for balance and for things to always feel fair.
