      Back in January 2018, I was commissioned to design an Elden Ring themed cosplay. I was commissioned to design the cosplay by two different individuals, one who owned a Wonder Woman cosplay and another who was a cosplay professional with a talent in sewing. So there was no question of whether I would do the cosplay or not. I had worked with the Wonder Woman cosplay years earlier and was excited to have the opportunity to work on it again. I had not been able to attend many conventions in 2017 due to personal and professional reasons, but it looks like I may be able to attend this year. I do not usually cosplay myself but I definitely want to get to know the community more in 2019.

      I took a semester break from college and didn’t want to make the cosplay during a stressful time in my life. So I decided to make the cosplay over the summer after the semester was finished and everything returned to normal. I spent the first few weeks of the semester looking for a costume, and by the time I finished my search I had already made a very large decision.
