I really like it so far.

That said, there are a few things I’d like to touch on.

1. I was not expecting the character creation screen to be that big.

I’m a girl, and I know there’s a lot of cosmetics I can choose from, but there’s a lot of things you can’t even think to put on there. I don’t mind being limited to what you can put in that screen, but for those looking for that, this is probably not their kind of game.

2. There’s a lot of space for customization.

Sure, you have a lot of standard options, but there’s also a lot of depth there. Want your weapons and armor to be larger? You can adjust the overall size and ratio of your character to accommodate that. Want your base stats to be better? You can set things like Intelligence and Strength. As for your overall appearance, I’m not saying there’s a lot of customization there, but there is. But it’s mostly the stat adjustments that make a difference.

3. It’s actually really easy to learn.

You might even say “So what? Dungeons are like dungeon crawls, right?” Wrong. You are not just a number here. The system here is very different from the standard RPGs where you have a set amount of stats that you are able to adjust. With this game, you are able to customize everything.

4. Over the course of the game, your enemies will use different strategies against you.

This is the best part about the game. Let’s say you’re doing a town of exploration, but your enemy pulls up on the other side of town and starts fighting. You’ll have to worry about two things. One is the direct attack, and the other is all the things you can do to confuse them and keep them off guard. You can use your companion pets, your base defenses, and even your lines of sight to stay ahead of the fight. It’s a situation that is often seen in a lot of strategy RPGs, and it’s handled really well.

5. Your companion pets are a great asset.
